Denver Wedding Photographer (in Cape Cod)

As you know I spend most of my time as a photographer in Denver and getting to photograph all the amazing weddings that take place around Colorado.  But I LOVE shooting destination weddings or weddings that happen any where in the world.  So when Kelle and Jay asked me to take a mini break from Denver wedding photography and photograph their wedding out near Cape Cod, I jumped at the chance.

Their wedding was a photographer’s dream.  A beautiful, fun-loving and up for anything couple.  They wanted beautiful wedding photos and lots of fun on their wedding day- two things that are super important to me too!  We kept joking that it was a “pinterest wedding” because every detail was like the perfect wedding photo that a bride would share on her wedding photo interest board !  I’ll post more photos just of all the wedding day details too.

The bride, Kelle, got ready at the most picturesque inn right across the street from the beach.  Although I’ve lived out west in Colorado and Montana for almost 10 years, I’m a beach girl at heart.  I grew up in a quaint New England town that smelled of salt and seaweed (and I mean that in the most affectionate way) so to be back at the ocean on this glorious, sunny day for their wedding was amazing.

When the bride and groom were all beautified and ready we did the first wedding photos of their “first look” just outside the inn in the beautiful garden out back.  The garden has actually hosted several weddings too but for today it was just Kelle and Jay.  These are often my favorite wedding photos- when the bride and groom first see each other.  It is most often the groom who starts crying first. . . Jay didn’t disappoint!

Ahhh. . . more wedding photos of Kelle and Jay’s beach wedding to come but just wanted to share the first part of their wedding day!  Stay tuned for more wedding photos of their wedding day details, wedding ceremony and reception. . . they might just have turned me from a Denver wedding photographer to a Cape Cod wedding photographer.  . . maybe (until my next Denver wedding or Colorado mountain wedding. . . those are pretty hard to beat)!
